Position Overview
FedEx Freight is hiring Terminal Operations Managers to assume full operational leadership of assigned service center facilities. This is a senior management role reporting to the District Operations Director with P&L ownership and full staffing authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound and outbound freight operations including dock sort, P&D dispatch, and linehaul trailer loading.
- Manage the facility operating budget controlling labor hours, equipment costs, fuel consumption, and freight claims.
- Develop and execute staffing plans covering dock workers, drivers, supervisors, and administrative support across all shifts.
- Partner with FedEx Freight sales teams to retain key commercial accounts and support revenue growth in the local market.
- Lead facility safety programs ensuring OSHA compliance, injury rate reduction, and successful regulatory audit outcomes.
Qualifications & Benefits
