Position Overview
FedEx Freight is hiring Logistics Coordinators to manage freight tracking, exception processing, and operational reporting at service center facilities. Working from the operations office, you will trace shipments across the FedEx Freight network, resolve delivery exceptions, coordinate appointment reschedules with customers, and produce daily operational reports for the management team. This is a weekday daytime position with full benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Trace freight shipments across the FedEx Freight network using internal tracking systems to provide real-time status updates.
- Process and resolve delivery exceptions including refused shipments, address corrections, and damaged freight claims.
- Coordinate inbound linehaul trailer schedules with origin service centers and update local dispatch on arrival timing.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports covering service metrics, volume trends, and exception rates.
- Communicate with commercial customers regarding shipment status inquiries, appointment changes, and claim resolution.
