Position Overview
FedEx Express is hiring Station Managers to lead all operations at local Express station facilities. You will oversee daily courier dispatch, sort operations, customer service metrics, fleet maintenance coordination, and team development. This is a senior management position with full accountability for station performance reporting to the District Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all station operations including courier dispatch, inbound sort, outbound pickup processing, and linehaul coordination.
- Own the station operating budget managing labor costs, vehicle fleet expenses, fuel, and supply procurement.
- Drive on-time delivery and pickup service scores to meet FedEx Express Purple Promise performance standards.
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team of couriers, handlers, dispatchers, and supervisors.
- Represent FedEx Express in the local business community, partnering with sales teams on commercial account retention and growth.
Qualifications & Benefits
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or operations management required. Minimum 5 years progressive management experience in express transportation, courier operations, or distribution. Demonstrated P&L ownership, team leadership, and service quality management track record.
