Position Overview

FedEx Supply Chain is hiring Inventory Control Specialists to manage inventory accuracy and cycle counting programs at distribution center facilities. You will execute daily cycle counts, investigate variances between physical inventory and WMS records, process system adjustments, and analyze patterns to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies. This is a data-driven warehouse role requiring both physical counting and analytical reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily cycle count programs scanning physical inventory against WMS system records across assigned warehouse zones.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances by tracing transaction histories, reviewing receiving records, and inspecting physical locations.
• Process inventory adjustments, lot corrections, and location transfers in the warehouse management system with proper documentation.
• Analyze cycle count data to identify recurring discrepancy patterns and recommend process improvements to operations leadership.
• Support periodic full physical inventories by coordinating count teams, managing reconciliation, and reporting final accuracy metrics.

Qualifications & Benefits

Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year warehouse experience with inventory counting or WMS system exposure preferred. Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and basic Excel skills required. Ability to operate RF scanning devices and navigate warehouse racking on foot.
