Warehouse Leads at FedEx Supply Chain are the working supervisors who bridge the gap between the management office and the warehouse floor. Splitting time between operating equipment alongside their team and directing workflow to meet shift targets, Warehouse Leads carry responsibility for zone productivity, quality metrics, and team coordination. This is the first leadership step for high-performing associates and the primary feeder into salaried supervisor and operations manager positions within the FedEx Supply Chain organization.

Position Overview

FedEx Supply Chain is hiring Warehouse Leads to direct daily fulfillment operations within assigned zones at distribution center facilities. You will manage a team of 8–20 warehouse associates, assign tasks, monitor productivity and quality metrics, and coordinate with supervisors on staffing and volume adjustments. This is an hourly lead position with premium pay and direct visibility for promotion into salaried management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks across your zone including picking, packing, receiving, and shipping functions for each team member.
• Monitor real-time zone productivity metrics and reassign labor to address bottlenecks or priority order surges.
• Perform quality audits on packed orders checking accuracy, carton selection, void fill, and labeling compliance.
• Train new hires on warehouse processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols during their onboarding period.
• Communicate shift status, staffing requests, and exception issues to the operations supervisor throughout the day.

Qualifications & Benefits
