Position Overview
FedEx is seeking experienced Operations Managers to lead hub and station sort operations at high-volume facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, staff, and supervise daily sort operations across multiple shifts at a FedEx hub or station.
- Monitor real-time volume forecasts and adjust staffing levels to maintain on-time dispatch targets.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate frontline supervisors and hourly team members.
- Enforce OSHA and FedEx safety standards, conducting regular audits and incident investigations.
- Analyze operational KPIs including cost-per-piece, misload rate, and employee retention to drive continuous improvement.
