You will consult with customers on shipping options, professionally pack items for safe transit, process shipping labels and documentation, and manage the store's outbound package staging area. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with walk-in customers to determine the best FedEx shipping service based on destination, speed, and budget requirements.
- Professionally pack customer items using custom box selection, foam inserts, bubble wrap, and fragile-handling techniques.
- Process shipping labels, generate tracking numbers, and apply proper hazmat or special handling declarations when applicable.
- Manage the store's outbound staging area ensuring all packages are scanned and ready for FedEx pickup on schedule.
- Handle customer inquiries on shipment tracking, delivery estimates, and FedEx service guarantees.
