Position Overview

FedEx is hiring Financial Analysts to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis across operating divisions. You will build financial models, prepare variance analyses, evaluate capital expenditure proposals, and present financial insights to business unit leadership. This is a corporate finance position at FedEx headquarters or divisional finance offices offering exposure to multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
• Perform monthly variance analysis comparing actual financial results to budget and prior year, identifying key performance drivers.
• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals analyzing ROI, payback period, and NPV to support investment decision-making.
• Prepare financial presentations and executive summaries communicating insights to business unit and divisional leadership.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests from operations, sales, and corporate strategy teams across FedEx divisions.

Qualifications & Benefits

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics required; MBA or CFA progress preferred. Minimum 2 years financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience. Advanced Excel modeling skills required; proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP financial systems preferred. Strong communication skills to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
