Position Overview
FedEx Express is hiring Feeder Drivers with a Class A CDL to transport freight containers between local Express stations and hub airport sort facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Transport loaded freight containers between FedEx Express stations and hub airport facilities on time-critical scheduled runs.
- Arrive at hub dock doors within precise time windows to meet inbound sort or outbound aircraft loading deadlines.
- Couple and uncouple tractor-trailer combinations at multiple station and hub dock locations each shift.
- Conduct DOT-compliant pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections on assigned tractor and trailer equipment.
- Communicate with station dispatch and hub operations regarding timing adjustments, volume changes, and equipment swaps.
