Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Perform notarial acts for walk-in customers including acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, and copy certifications per state law.
- Verify signer identity using acceptable identification documents and maintain a proper notary journal of all acts performed.
- Advise customers on notary requirements and document preparation while strictly avoiding the practice of law.
- Assist with general store operations including printing, shipping, packing, and customer service when not performing notary duties.
- Maintain active state notary commission, complete required continuing education, and renew commission before expiration.
Qualifications & Benefits
