Position Overview
FedEx Supply Chain is hiring Quality Auditors to perform order accuracy verification and process compliance checks at distribution center facilities. You will audit random and targeted order samples at key workflow checkpoints, document defects and non-conformances, and report quality metrics to operations leadership. This is a detail-focused floor position that requires both warehouse mobility and strong data documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit random and targeted order samples at picking, packing, and shipping checkpoints verifying item accuracy and quantity.
- Inspect packaging quality including correct carton selection, void fill adequacy, label placement, and documentation inclusion.
- Document all identified defects, non-conformances, and process deviations in the quality management system with root cause codes.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports tracking defect rates, trends, and corrective action effectiveness.
- Collaborate with operations supervisors to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of identified quality issues.
