About FedEx Network Infrastructure
The FedEx technology network spans thousands of facilities across 220+ countries — connecting sort systems, scanning infrastructure, dispatch platforms, and enterprise applications through one of the most extensive private WANs in corporate America. Network Engineers design, deploy, and maintain the routing, switching, wireless, and security infrastructure that keeps this global network operating with the sub-second latency required for real-time package tracking and automated sort operations. A network outage at a FedEx hub can delay millions of packages, making this role mission-critical.
